Shell-Bagging Event

Adelphi’s Community Oyster Restoration Effort will be hosting a shell-bagging event. The shells from nearby restaurants are bagged in special net bags and will be used in oyster restoration efforts on Long Island’s south shore.

Oyster Reclamation and Reconstruction

Long Beach High School students will be conducting a shell bagging event and have established a small oyster reef in a pond on their campus, where they will be monitoring the reef’s progress.
Harbor and Beach Cleanup

Help the Town of Oyster Bay with their annual spring cleanup of debris washed ashore. Spend the day and make a difference!

Plastique Community Arts Project

Help us make some big art with over 1000 recycled plastic water bottles! What will it look like? We don’t know! But you can help us get there. Simple cutting of bottles will be done with templates provided to make easy, quick cuts.
